Frequently Asked Questions about Dynamic Language Services

At Dynamic Language, a number of factors set us apart from our competition, including:
  • An unparalleled commitment to customer service
  • Careful and attentive project management
  • A streamlined, but flexible, workflow process
  • An ISO-certified Quality Management System
Together, these processes result in projects that consistently meet deadlines and exceed client expectations. Further, we deliver on our promises with projects at or under budget and stand behind our results. When terminology disagreements come up, we diligently work to find mutually agreeable solutions.
Also, unlike many of our competitors, we handle key functions in-house, such as project management, customer service, graphic design, and quality control. This strategy helps us deliver exceptional quality that’s fast and cost effective for our customers. Learn more about the Dynamic Difference.
For more than 30 years, we have worked with a wide range of customers across many industries, such as aerospace, educationlegal, healthcare, and marketing. We provide language services to everyone from individuals and small businesses to Fortune 100 corporations such as Boeing, Nordstrom, and Microsoft.
Dynamic Language is proud to be certified as both a women-owned business and a minority-owned business.
ISO 9001:2015 is the internationally recognized standard for the quality management of businesses. It applies to the processes that create and control the products and services provided by an organization and prescribes systematic control of activities to ensure that the needs and expectations of customers be met. It is designed and intended to apply to virtually any product or service, made by any process anywhere in the world. ISO 9001 certification by an accredited certification body shows commitment to quality, customers, and a willingness to work toward improving efficiency. It demonstrates the existence of an effective quality management system that satisfies the rigors of an independent, external audit. Dynamic Language achieved ISO 9001 Certification in September 2012. Learn more about the Dynamic Language commitment to quality.

We never charge for quotes. They are always free.
Within the translation industry, it is standard to charge minimums. It would not be profitable for translators or agencies to charge the straight per-word calculation method for small projects. Dynamic's minimum charge is $60 to $100 depending on language and project.
Translation projects are priced on a per-word basis and the specific language rate. The translation minimum charge also varies by language. There are times when your project is 500 words and no minimum will be included due to the language pairs. Other times, your project may be 150 words but because the rate of the language is so high, a minimum must be included. Project turnaround time is determined by the subject-matter. If the document has dense copywriting with very technical aspects the turnaround time will take longer.
We do not. All of our interpreters and translators are independent contractors and do not work in our Seattle, WA office.
